Objective : Rubbing insulators can induce static electricity.

Material:
Ruler , pieces of paper , silk cloth

Procedure: Plastic and ruler

It has equal number of positive and negative charges but when students rub ruler with silk cloth it becomes charged. The charged ruler can then attract small pieces of paper.

Students have done the activity effectively and learnt its procedure.
