The hall resonated with the loud rolling of the bowling balls on the slick wooden track —mixed with the joyous laughter of the HFS students.The Ohhhhs when a player bowled a strike and the Ahhhhs when another one threw the ball in the channel….Yes, this was the bowling alley. The scene was no different at the skating rink. Everybody clad in their safety garb of helmet, elbow pack, gloves, knee pads and the skating boots; slipping and sliding, gripping and groping for balance and support. The clumsier a girl, the more hilarious her actions. It was difficult to decide who was enjoying more, the participants or the spectators.
This indeed was a memorable excursion trip for the Senior Girls Campus at the Arena on Thursday, 6th October.
After the strenuous and exciting physical activities a sumptuous lunch was served, and finally everybody walked towards the waiting buses for the trip back to school. Alhamdulillah, the experience made our children realize the importance of healthy physical and mental skills which Allah swt has blessed them with.
