HANDS-ON TARBIYAH

Alhumdulillah, the Tarbiyah Department did an activity about being grateful to Allah s.w.t. with the students of grades 1 and 2. The students drew a mindmap about the many blessings bestowed upon us.

They were made to realise that everything comes from Allah SWT. They were given examples of all the blessings Allah SWT has given us and also added to those. Then they were told that today they would thank Allah SWT for all His blessings because He has told us in the Holy Qur’an that whoever is thankful Allah SWT will increase them in His blessings alhamdulilah!

In grades 3, 4 & 5, the students learnt about the benefits of giving sadqa. They made sadqa boxes/ jars to keep at home. This activity made them learn about the art of giving and that charity begins at home. The aim was to kindle the generous side of the young ones with the importance of spending in the path of Allah SWT and how this amount would reap rewards in the hereafter!
