‘Study skills’ session

On Thursday 18 February 2016, a session on ‘Study skills’ for grade iX and X was held at the Hira Foundation School Boys campus, conducted by the Academic Coordinator Raja Owaisullah.
Study skills are an array of skills which tackle the process of organizing and taking in new information, retaining information, or dealing with assessments. They include mnemonics, which aid the retention of lists of information; effective reading; concentration techniques; and efficient note taking.

Students found the session highly interesting and informative. They commented in the written feedback: Abullah Tilal grade X says ‘It was an excellent experience of attending this class. We learn new things and this will greatly help us in our exam preparation.’ Ahmed Ammar grade iX reflects ‘The whole session was awesome; every part of the session gave some message, knowledge and tips to improve our studies. Through this session, I came to know how to make my studies more beneficial for me and learn things with fun.’
