To keep our young learners engaged with reading during the winter break, we request your support in helping your child read the assigned reader, “Tick-Tock Against the Clock” – Starlight Readers. The reader has already been sent home and we encourage you to read it together in a fun and relaxed way.

To make reading even more enjoyable and effective, we recommend the following child-friendly tools:
📱 Khan Academy Kids (App) – Helps build reading confidence
📱 Read Along by Google (App) – Improves pronunciation and reading fluency
After the winter break, students will have a graded reading test on “Tick-Tock Against the Clock.”
Just 10 minutes of reading each day with your child will make a big difference in their progress.
