Objective: To disperse seeds, the fruits of some plants spin in the air. This helps to move the seed far away from the parent plant and the other seeds. Make paper or cardboard spinner fruits to watch how they work. 

Materials: Paper or cardboard, scissors, ruler and pencil

Procedure: 

The seeds of plants which are dispersed by wind are usually small and their fruits have wing like structure. Students designed a spinner with wings and dropped it from a different height.
Students enjoyed this activity and learnt the concept of how fruits disperse their seed by wind.
