Pakistan Day was celebrated in high spirits on 21st March 2019 at Hira Foundation School, Girls Campus. Students were informed about the importance of Pakistan Resolution and its association with Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
The Day was celebrated with zeal and zest, in the memory to commemorate the event when the Muslim League drafted the political resolution at the Minar-e-Pakistan, that called for establishing an independent federation, named Pakistan for the first time during the historic struggle of freedom of Muslims of Hindustan. Our beloved country is a blessing of Allah (SWT), and we must be grateful to him and for the people who sacrificed their lives and belongings for this task.
On this prestigious occassion, various in-house activities were performed, like dressing up in green and white traditional outfits, singing national songs, flag making, face painting etc. The classess were decorated with flags, buntings and balloons.
The day began with the chanting of National Anthem, invoked patriotic feelings in all. The students were given the awareness about the history and enlightened the importance of 23rd March. They performed painting activity in their classrooms and shared their knowledge about the struggle of Muslims for their freedom. Then students sighted the adorable and inspirational Resolution Day Parade by the armed forces. After that, all the students performed a March past and showed the dignity and discipline.
The students visited the beautiful and exquisite cultural display. They excitedly explored the essence of different cultures of Pakistan. The students signified that although we belonged to different cultures but we are the ONE nation, proud Pakistani.
The students had a delightful lunch and experience the sweetness of sharing with their peers. At the end of the day students received souvenirs, sang patriotic National songs and enjoyed having their face painted with our beloved and respected flag.
The students had a delightful day which aimed to increase patriotism and determination in our future generations.
